3A-03

few days ago the scholars finally received their allowance and so one of the ultimate spender, Alan King, suggested that all the 3A-03 occupants go out and have some fun and we all agreed, including the Indian aka Girish..

so we went to Sunway Pyramid to have some Carl's Junior burger.. it's been a while since all 6 of us sat on the same table having dinner so it was real fun.. the nonsense talk kept flying in.. and not to mention the random shots..

and the most popular burger choice for the night was double western something something.. cost us but on that day, we felt rich, thanks to allowance.. lol.. and here was how the burger set looked like..

the poor guy.. had two use two straws as his chopsticks cuz it was kinda difficult for him to eat it bare-handed..

the meal was real huge and at the end of it, some of us came out as a winner and some, well, the loser.. and also an opportunist.. lol..

the winner, alan.. as usual this eating machine had no difficulties in finishing his share and yu full's.. lol..

the face of an opportunist.. Girish wasn't even done with his burger yet when yu full conceded defeat and offered his burger, Girish was quick in TRYING to snatch it.. but he lost out to the King, Alan..

once we were done we walked around and somehow ended up buying shirts at Baleno, no thanks to JICH.. and after that we went to Asian Avenue and there's where the fun really was.. we played Dance Dance Revolution and the King is super damn good at it whereas the rest of the 3A-03 tenants, we were plain bad.. but ultimately the night belonged to yu full, with his dancing style.. right guys?? wahaha..

and we ended up really spending money.. the fool aka yu full didn't buy any shirts but he got himself a pair of converse.. alan was busy persuading me to but anything and everything that was in the stores that we went.. lol..

and before we left for home, we just couldn't resist, or more like alan couldn't resist, to spread our 3A-03 signature pose, The Koala..

well that's about it for our hanging out session in pyramid.. overall, a night full of fun and laughter..

We WOWED WOW! day..

we don't know how it feels to grow up without parents..
we don't know how it feels to call people unrelated to us brother or sister since young..
we don't know how it feels to be staying in the same house with over 30 people..
we just don't.......
unless we're orphans living in an orphanage..

on the 15th of august 2009, some of the scholars from JPA and MARA had the chance to meet and mingle with the kids from a few orphanage thanks to WOW Day..

this was the day we tried to make them feel like a star, feel loved and most importantly, to let them know WE CARE.. it was also a day of fun. not only for the kids, but also the volunteers and the members of LP129..

the day started with the kids arriving at the putrajaya botanical garden.. they were then seated together before being split into groups..

once split into groups, it was up to the volunteers and team captain to bond the team together..

and then we had some games, performance and some other activities organized by the LP129 peeps..

these were just some of the things we did.. simple and all, but we did it.. we WOWED WOW day.. we made the kids happy..

it was a tiring day.. but all in all, for what it's worth, it was worth all the while.. the practice effort put in for the performances, the amount of energy that we brought in on WOW day, only one word to describe it.. AWESOME.. and it shows we scholars are no nerds, WE"RE AWESOME..

i take my hats off to those who were there and those who gave in their best to help make WOW day a really WOW day..

random-ity

today induction officially ended so starting next week hopefully life will be less tiring..

anyway, i'm taking the time to just write nonsense.. so yeah.. here goes.. let me start with the room in my apartment.. well i got the master bedroom.. sounds cool but the master bedroom is really small..

and bear in mind we're using standing fans.. lol.. the life of a scholar.. and speaking of scholar, here's a random pic with me and my housemate in toefl class.. and we're dressed like that for presentation..

done with the human side, i kinda miss my cat back home in kuching :( nevertheless, i manage to release some of the missing feeling by playing with some of the cats i found on the street.. well not exactly play but somehow it helps with the missing feeling..







i just love cats so much..

and this one here, a dog kinda reminds me of narnia.. Aslan if i'm not mistaken..

well i guess that's about it for a random post.. it's been a long day, no thanks to swimming just now.. now i'm super tired..
